Must-see stops on the tour

1. Vallouise and Pré de Madame Carle

In the heart of Vallouise, the Pré de Madame Carle is one of the massif’s iconic sites. Nestled at 1,874 m, it offers a breathtaking view of the Blanc Glacier and is the starting point for numerous alpine climbs.

2. Les Vigneaux – Route des Espagnols

The Route des Espagnols, above the village of Vigneaux, winds its way across the Durance Valley. A picturesque route amidst the highest wine-growing hillsides in Europe.

3. Col du Galibier (2,642 m)

A legendary Alpine climb, the Col du Galibier is renowned worldwide. Its spectacular route, often associated with the Tour de France, offers panoramic views of the Barre des Écrins (4,102 m), the iconic peak of the massif.
